Master Joiner / Cabinet Maker
Originally from Sicily, Tino brings an extraordinary level of precision and craftsmanship to every piece he touches. With a deep respect for traditional techniques and an eye for bespoke detail, his joinery work is both refined and quietly remarkable. Tino’s path to the workshop wasn’t exactly conventional – let’s just say it’s full of stories best heard over a drink.
Private by nature, he prefers to let his work do the talking—and it speaks volumes. A quiet thinker and an avid reader, Tino brings just as much depth to a conversation as he does to a dovetail joint. Every now and then he drops something unexpectedly lovely – like the time he casually revealed he’s into Pink Floyd too. For a moment, I considered hugging him. Then I remembered he probably knows 17 ways to disable someone who gets too close with a spoon, so we settled for a nod.
Ask him about his wife, though, and the whole room softens. He absolutely glows when he speaks of her, which somehow makes him even cooler.
Tino brings a certain panache to the place – quiet charm, serious skill and the kind of presence that makes us all feel lucky to have him around.
Project Manager
Ollie keeps everything moving smoothly and with a trademark cheeky smile.
He’s across every detail: pricing, scheduling, sourcing, coordinating, supporting… and somehow makes the complex look effortless.
But what really sets him apart is the heart he brings to the job. Ollie cares, deeply and instinctively about people’s wellbeing as much as the business itself. He’s also my constant sounding board: early-morning refinements to plans, mid-day bursts of entrepreneurial ideas, after-work pints where thoughts bounce back and forth and midnight brain dumps that become next-day action. From quick-fire observations to full-on strategy, he’s the co-conspirator shaping so much of what we do.
He might not be on the tools, but you’d never know it from how hands-on and invested he is. With a distinctive beard, a permanent grin and the boundless energy of a Labrador puppy, Ollie lifts every site visit and team meeting. Clients trust him immediately; colleagues depend on him.
Off the clock, Ollie swaps spreadsheets for the fairways and happily window-shops the latest cars. For now, it’s mostly test drives of the imagination, but keep this trajectory up and he’s destined to have the pick of the car park.
To me, he’s more than a Project Manager—he’s a partner in every sense of the word and absolutely crucial to what we do.
He never really switches off (I’m still figuring out how to get him to sit), and that relentless dedication is a huge part of why we’re able to keep growing and delivering at our best.
Master Joiner / Working Foreman
Our Lukey has the typical red-headed traits: fire, grit and a fierce sense of pride in his work.
From New Mills, he’s a master joiner through and through and now confidently running full jobs with authority and a sharp eye for detail.
A hands-on leader, he’s right there in the thick of it – boots on ground, tools in hand, fully embedded in the build.
He’s vocal, driven and carries a real sense of responsibility for the standard of work. When Luke’s on it, you know things are getting done properly.
If he were a footballer, he’d be more Roy Keane than Luka Modrić – fierce, loyal and never one to cut corners.
He cares deeply about doing things right. For the team, the client and the craft itself.
A family man, a good mate and a leader full of heart.
Master Joiner / Multi-Trade Specialist
Andy brings calm, consistency and decades of hands-on experience to the team.
A skilled cabinet maker by trade, he’s one of those rare people who can turn his hand to almost anything…and do it well. Whether he’s fitting fine joinery, sorting site logistics or behind the controls of a digger, Andy approaches every job with poise and a level head.
His joiner’s eye doesn’t switch off, which makes him a brilliant snagger and a safe pair of hands when the details matter most. And when the day’s done, chances are the golf clubs are already in the van, ready for a twilight round.
A family man through and through, Andy’s always showing up for his kids and lending a hand wherever it’s needed.
Steady, skilled and stitched into the fabric of what we do.
Head of Plumbing & Heating
Karl is the kind of person every build needs and every team is lucky to have.
A highly skilled heating engineer and head plumber, he’s been with me since the very beginning.
Back when it was just the two of us taking on full projects, working long hours, having to be every type of tradesman at some points – he was there, steady and unshakable.
Karl is incredibly present.
Whether he’s on the tools or talking through a design challenge, he brings a calm depth of knowledge. Not just in his own trade, but across the board.
He’s a natural teacher, though he’d never call himself one. He just has a way of modestly and covertly guiding people in the right direction, often without saying much at all.
Off the tools, Karl’s rhythm shifts.
Rock music loud, motorbikes humming and a love for the raw, real stuff of life.
It’s funny, we meet in Pink Floyd then part ways when he dives into punk and I drift more toward melody and movement.
That’s the pattern of us – alignment and contrast.
My artistic nature tessellates with his scientific one and it’s in that overlap that some of our best conversations unfold. Whether it’s music or the nature of reality, we often start in step and end on different paths – thank goodness. How boring would the alternative be?
These days he’s got the travel bug, which is both beautiful and mildly inconvenient.
But that’s Karl.
He does life entirely at his own pace, and somehow, it always feels perfectly timed.
Technical Lead / Senior Builder
Dan’s one of those people you instantly feel at ease around; calm, steady and unphased by much.
A qualified building surveyor with a strong technical mind, he’s got a quiet command of how things go together – and he brings that depth to every job.
He takes his time – not because he’s slow but because he cares about getting the details right.
Like me, Dan grew up around design and it shows in his thoughtful approach.
It shows in his feel for structure and the way he moves through a build with care and precision.
He’s an all-rounder in the best sense: versatile, dependable and quietly skilled across the board.
He’s also a bloody good golfer – and the reason I now own an air fryer, not that I’ve done much with it.
He had high hopes for my fruit dehydration undertakings – I had Waitrose.
A kind soul, a solid thinker and one of the most quietly knowledgeable people on site.
Senior Operative / Multi-Trade
Dylan joined us in his early twenties, full of potential and eager to graft. Since then, it’s been a privilege to watch him grow – not just in skill but in mindset and maturity.
He’s steadily carved out his place here, developing into a trusted all-rounder with a sharp eye for the job and real pride in the work.
He’s got an organised mind and a knack for forward planning.
Whether he’s on excavations, drainage, standard joinery or decoration works, Dylan brings the same steady, reliable approach every time.
He enjoys the variety, plans ahead and always shows up ready.
More often than not, he’s the first one on site and the last person you’d need to chase.
He’s loud when he’s laughing, which is often.
We shush him.
He registers the shush, then proceeds to laugh just as loud the next time.
Dylan’s moved house more times than a show home sofa but always with one thing in mind – providing for his young family.
From humble beginnings, he’s built something solid – for them and for us.
A good man with a good heart who’ll do very well in life.
(And he’s absolutely not 6’ 4” – but full marks to the lad for his commitment to such a ridiculous claim)
Site Operative / Multi-Trade
Jack’s been with us for a couple of years now, and in that time he’s become one of those rare people you only need to explain something to once. He takes it in, nods once, then just bloody does it.
No follow-up needed, no second explanation required.
Like a robot.
Programmed for solutions, powered by sarcasm and recharged via USB (Unfiltered, Straight-to-the-point Banter)
He’s got a habit of walking into a tangled, over-complicated site conversation and cutting straight through it with one, painfully obvious solution the rest of us somehow missed. Annoying? A little. Useful? Absolutely.
Jack’s as sharp with his work as he is with his one-liners. Always dry, always functional and always bang on.
He’s strong too, the kind of strong that makes awkward lifts look effortless. I’m sometimes forced to capitalise on this when helping with a lift in front of clients. I’ve found by pulling all the right facial expressions, throwing in a few well-timed grunts and an appropriate amount of stretching – no one ever knows. Luckily he’s a Liverpool fan, so unlikely to ever catch on.
He’s also got young kids and a needlessly massive family. When they go on holiday, the UK goes eerily quiet. Like lockdown all over again, but without the banana bread.
Quietly sharp, naturally capable and a better problem-solver than most, Jack’s already a core part of the team and we’re lucky to have him.
Electrician
George is one of those rare electricians who’ll not only wire your house to perfection, but explain it in a way that somehow makes you feel smarter just for listening. He’s meticulous, measured and incredibly articulate, singlehandedly keeping the word “effectively” in circulation.
A thoughtful presence on site, George is gentle, polite and practically spiritual in nature. Clients love having him in the house and for good reason – he’s calm, considered and impossible not to feel comfortable around. That sort of trust isn’t accidental, it’s something we build everything around and George sets the tone.
He’s got the biggest feet on the team, can’t grow a beard for love nor money and tends to give off the vibe of someone who’s either very enlightened or just had a really good breakfast. Either way, we’ll take it.
At the moment, he’s off travelling the world with his childhood sweetheart, making the most of life before baby bairns arrive to ground the next adventure.
Another Liverpool supporter, sadly – although there is photographic evidence of him in a Man United Oodie, looking suspiciously ecstatic. Please email us should you wish to see such evidence.
George is a gem and we love him dearly.
Site Operative
Joel’s the newest face on the team—and one of those rare cases where a CV does exactly what it should. No fluff, no AI-generated waffle, just a straight-up reflection of the lad himself: driven, honest, and built for hard graft.
Fresh into the trade but already carrying himself like a seasoned pro, Joel’s a quick study with sharp eyes, a tidy mindset, and a willingness to get stuck into whatever the day throws at him. He’s polite to a fault, works like a machine, and brings the kind of energy that reminds the rest of us to pick our feet up a bit.
He’s ex-military, which might explain the precision, the discipline, and the fact that he somehow makes a broom look like a weapon of efficiency. Put him on external works and he seems to physically expand—like the outdoors gives him an extra gear. He’s qualified on all sorts of plant, and his military first aid training is next level – the rest of us are lucky if we know where the plasters are.
Joel’s the kind of guy who keeps a site moving forward, keeps a client at ease, and keeps the reputation intact. A quiet grafter for now—but no doubt about it, this lad’s on track to be a WJM heavyweight.
A true part of the family already.
Digital Visualisation & Trainee Joiner
Adam joined us with a rare mix of digital expertise and hands-on ambition. A 3D technical animator by definition, he provides next-level visualisation and IT support, while deliberately expanding his skillset on site—learning the building trade and, in particular, the craft of joinery.
Keen to stay a step ahead of the AI curve, Adam is as smart as he is hardworking. He’s already a true credit to the team: mature, humble and endlessly curious, with the stamina to graft and the drive to keep learning. Splitting his time between the office and the workshop, he bridges the gap between cutting-edge tech and traditional craft.
Beyond work, Adam is a gentleman through and through—and it’s clear how much he treasures life with his young family.
